Coaching with Anavo Solutions
The California Department of Conservation (DOC) is partnering with Anavo Solutions to offer coaching to supervisors, managers, and executives to enhance individual leadership capabilities and strengthen DOC’s internal leadership capacity.
Professional coaching is a personalized and confidential process in which experienced coaches work one on one with you to navigate specific challenges, strengthen your leadership skills, and take meaningful steps toward your personal and professional goals. A coach’s job, simply put, is to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to go with greater clarity and confidence.
Coaching Expectations
In order to make the coaching relationship most effective…
You agree:
To be responsible for scheduling your sessions using your coach's Calendly link.
To communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance, and create the time and energy to participate fully in the process.
To be responsible for your action and inaction and for your own learning and personal growth. Coaching is not therapy or consulting and there are situations where these approaches may be more appropriate.
Our coaches agree:
To maintain the ethics and standards of behavior set by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
To support the agenda that the coachee brings to the session.
To be available between sessions via email/text for questions and brief updates.
To maintain confidentiality of the coaching conversations and engagement.

-
Coaching is a collaborative, results-oriented process designed to support individuals in achieving personal or professional growth. Rather than offering advice or solutions, a coach serves as a thought partner, asking powerful questions, challenging limiting beliefs, and helping you access your own wisdom and strengths.
-
Therapy focuses on healing and emotional resolution, often addressing past trauma.
Mentoring involves guidance from someone with direct experience in your field.
Consulting offers expert advice or solutions.
Coaching empowers you to generate your own solutions, focusing on present and future outcomes.
-
In a confidential and supportive space, coaching sessions help you clarify goals, explore possibilities, and create actionable plans to achieve your desired outcomes.
-
Clients work on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
Career transitions
Leadership development
Stress management and work-life balance
Business growth and strategic planning
Confidence, communication, and personal development
-
While some clients benefit from short-term (3-month) coaching to reach specific goals, others choose to work with a coach for 6 months or longer for ongoing growth and accountability. We will design a plan together that fits your needs.
